There's a lot of style in photography and 1 of them is Landscape Photography. If you don't know what it is. Landscape photography is a kind of photography that usually take or capture the presence of nature but it can also apply on man-made features and disturbances of landscape.
Landscape Photography Tips # 1
- In landscape photography, we must use the sense of depth. what does it mean's we must make sure that your foreground, background and all kinds of elements is in focus and sharp. By doing this we must have a small aperture by setting it from f/16- f/22. But on this aperture setting, we have small light coming in down into our camera. Therefore, we must have a tripod to eliminate the hand shaking.
Landscape Photography Tips # 2
- I believe that the best camera in the world is the one what you have. But practicing on that camera and study the limit and the capability of your camera is the key. Anyways, when you determine the capability of your camera then you will realize that you must upgrade your lenses. In landscape photography it is so much recommended that we must use a wide-angle lens because in this lens they can capture a broader view and give a sense of wide open space. And it is also can give a better depth of field and more light is coming in into your camera. Therefore, you are allowed to set a fast shutter speed with settings of f/16 your foreground and background will definitely on sharp and focus.
- My third tips on Landscape Photography is use a filter on our wide lens such as ND Filters and Polorizing Filters. Because sometimes when we want to capture a picture and the lighting is not good for example bright days and we want to filter the too much light entering on our lens, then ND filter will help you to prevent the light. And if you want to enhance the blue sky and contrast the white sky. You use polorizing filter on that case. Because Polorizing filter will help to darken the blue sky.
Landscape Photography Tips # 4
- The forth tips is the rule of third. If you didn't know what the rule of third is? It is an imaginary 2 vertical and 2 horizontal line, as shown image below. The rule of third technique is very important for composition on your shot because it is more pleasing in the eyes.
- The idea on the rule of third is very simple. you must use those 4 intersecting lines, and place your subject on that area.
Landscape Photography Tips # 5
- My 5th tips on landscape photography is, I am using water reflection on my subject as a focal point to give my photograph more interesting. We can do this on "golden hours" such as the first hours before sunrise and last hour before sunset.
